Minoan Greek was born on the island of Crete off the coast of the mainland on Greece. It is said to be founded by King Minos in 2700 BCE and the Minoan civilization corrupted around 1450 BCE. The Minoans occupied much of the Bronze Age and were succeeded by the Mycenaean Greeks. Many events happened within the time period between 2700 and 1450 BCE and these events directly influenced the outcome on the Cretans.
